Get it started...

Now is as good a time as any to start journaling some thoughts and events in our lives.  So here we go...
This week will be Luke's last week in school (daycare).  He enjoys it very much but I think that he will be just as excited to stay home with us and have family fun :D So I have to do some research and find some kind of teaching books or DVD's or something to help prepare him for kindergarten but I'm sure that wont be hard to find.  He will be with Jason Sat Sun and Mon then me Tues and Wed, my Mom on Thurs and Jason's Dad on Friday...lots of bouncing around so I'm praying that it doesn't mess his schedule up to much.  Grayson is going to be doing what he always does...smiling and going with the flow (ok maybe not ALWAYS but he is like that most of the time:)).

In other news...My sweet seester Karissa was here in town last week with her sweetie Travis.  They are so cute together, we really enjoyed having them around!  Thursday night we hung out here at our house and had dinner and played a board game..then Friday we went to see Jennie, Robbie and the baby then enjoyed some time downtown lakeland at the classic car show.

Speaking of Jennie Sue!  She and Robbie welcomed their amazing baby boy to the world on Tuesday October 12, 2010.  Robert Thomas Simison was 8lb1oz and 20 1/2 inches long (Robbie said we are going to call it 21 inches cause we round up in this family :))  He's perfect and is so far giving Mom and Dad a pretty easy time!  Robbie will be leaving tomorrow morning to go back to Germany to prepare for Jennie and the baby's arrival.  We will be praying that the Army moves faster than usual and that they can all be in Germany by Christmas!

Ok so thanks for reading...maybe I'll get better at this as we go along?!
